We were a little concerned when we arrived and the place was packed. We didn't want to wait too long. The groups moved through very quickly and Rosy was so welcoming! I could tell right away that she is passionate about her restaurant and loves her customers. Once we got to our table the servers were attentive and friendly as well. We never got low on anything. We all tried different dishes to get the full experience and shared our meals to allow everyone to try new things. The food was fresh and delicious. The flavor of the food was so much better than the "usual old Mexican food." It is also the first time in years I don't have a stomach ache after eating at a Mexican restaurant. Our whole family loved the experience and can't wait to go back very soon! We ❤️ Rosy's!

Small place. The owner is really sweet when you walk in. There is not a great place to wait for a table cause your just forming a line through the restaurant but the wait wasn't to bad. The service was very fast. The food was really good. I had a fajita quesadilla and he has the biggest burrito on the menu. We both cleaned our plates.

I got takeout here for the first time earlier today, I never write reviews but I just had to for this place. The service was amazing and the food was delicious definitely will be coming there again.

Love this place! We love the friendly staff, that the owner knows us now and always says hello, but most importantly we love the food and it is delicious!! This restaurant has never been a disappointment and we’ve never had bad food or service here. Highly recommend!

Food was very tasty. They are consistently putting out great food at a reasonable price. Our waiter was very personable and was doing a great job of keeping up with refills and making us laugh. All of the food came out right, the first time around. No complaints. Absolutely recommend.

This place embodies true teamwork and family feels, we have never had a negative experience here. We've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and employee lunches here and it has always been a top notch experience!

The owners and staff are some of the most welcoming people around. We love coming here. Food and portions are excellent for the price. We even showed up 30 minutes before open because we can't read the sign and they let us come in and gave us water and chips/salsa. Best Mexican place in Simpsonville for sure!

We were told about this place from family in CALIFORNIA! They saw the reviews and said “you guys should go check out this place.” Wow! Did not disappoint. Absolutely amazing!! We just left and I had to leave a review! The service here exceeded all of my expectations. Not to mention all of the employees were so friendly, my fiancé and I traveled here from Charlotte, NC. I wish we had this exact one there! Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area traveling or not to go sit and eat there I promise it will not disappoint!! Food prices were reasonable! Chicken soup made me feel so cozy! Honestly the BEST Mexican restaurant I’ve ever tasted! Would definitely return if we come back this way.

The staff are absolutely amazing! They are so friendly and attentive. They treat everyone like their best friend who they love to see and talk to. If that wasn't enough the food is top notch! I had a burrito with pork fried to perfection and my wife's burrito with steak covered in queso was to die for. They don't skimp out on kids meals either, they got a good amount. I plan on making this a regular place to eat.

The food is always tasty, exactly what you would expect. The service makes this place for us. The best staff - always attentive and works as a team to get you what you need. We have never had a bad experience here. First choice every time. We love Rosy’s!

I've been going to El Tejano since 2004 and even though I've relocated to Columbia SC, my fiancé and I still come to see Rosy wherever we're in the Upstate. We LOVE Rosy and we LOVE the food and atmosphere at El Tejano. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Super friendly and delicious food

This is the best mexican food place ever! When i first walked in Rosie(the owner) was so welcoming she treated me like family and I loved it. Next we got seated and the place was very clean everyone looked like they were enjoining the food. When we sat down they brought us chip and salsa and it was amazing!!!!!! Then we ordered and soon the food was coming out, and when I say it was the best food ever it was. Plus the staff was very nice and friendly and the food was ready very fast! So I definitely recommend this place!!

I celebrated my graduation yesterday in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a brilliant evening and the restaurant was absolutely one of the reasons for the outstanding evening. The waiters cooperated in a graceful style, the food was great and my friends were very cheerful. We shall definitely come back again for more events. thanks very much.

What a nice surprise to find such a delicious Mexican place right behind my hotel. Food was excellent, the prices were shockingly low, and our server (I wish I got his name) was attentive and hilarious. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants delicious traditional Mexican fare. The homemade salsa and chips were plentiful and amazing.

Started out at Papa’s & Beer after being seated by an unethused worker & opening the disgusting dirty menu we just left!!! Ended up here with Miss Rosey!! Food is delicious!! The food is hot!!! NOT the plate!! The food!! So glad we found you Miss Rosey!! We’ll be back!!

This place is great. The food is always consistent and very good. I've never had anything that wasn't good. We go here often and the service is outstanding. Rosie's staff is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to do the extra things to make sure you enjoy your meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Rosy and her brother Francisco are wonderful people who make you feel like family the moment you walk in. The food is delicious and service is outstanding! Before I leave I’m already planning my next visit haha.

From the minute you walk into the restaurant, you feel like you walked into Rosey and Alfonso's living room. The staff is AMAZINGLY attentive and exceptionally friendly. Our family thought it might be a one time visit, but this has quickly become our favorite Mexican food restaurant in all of the Greenville area. Having grown up in California, I have eaten in some of the best Mexican restaurants and would put El Tejano up against any of them. Great food, great family atmosphere and great hospitality!

Great food and wonderful service here almost all the time. Food is out quick and is very reasonable. Just hope its not your birthday so you have to wear the giant hat and listen to the staff's off key and funny happy birthday song.

They out did themselves! The meals we're a lot bigger than I expected! The homemade sour cream, shut your mouth! During the CORONA 19, this restaurant has the easiest pickup. You call in your order, they give you a number, you pull up right at front by the curb. They come out tell them your number and with in a few minutes you have your fresh hot order! This is by far the BEST Mexican Restaurant I have ever tasted!

Oh, this is the best Mexican restaurant we’ve been to. And I’ve been to Mexico! Rosie will love you to pieces! We are regulars.

The staff was very welcoming and loved to get to know you. I come here often and they remembered me even after the second time I came. Their food is off the chain. They have very good service and all staff will help you, even if they did not seat you. They often go around looking for someone to help or something to do. Very polite people and I recommend you give it a try!

I would not eat here any more. We saw a menu online and it showed specials. I told the employee that I would like the lunch menu and I confirmed that it was on the lunch menu he stated yes. When we got our food they charged us for the dinner portion which was fine. When I called he stated, it was an old menu after confirming these items are on the lunch menu. My co-worker paid 18 dollars for Shrimp Fajita. She did not receive any rice, no pico, and no soft taco wrap. How is this a Fajita withoout the wraps? I did not receive everything with my order. It was prepared messy and for the price we were charge this was not acceptable. When I called the guy to tell him he did not show good customer service techniques. He did not ask what he could do to fix this etc. This was our first time and last. Nobody wants to give away money for slop.
